As a tutor for music in a school, I have had a chance to work with the technology used to teach music in schools. The technology is as of now quite rudimentary, such as message boards and simple attendance taking apps. In my opinion it could be greatly updated to play a more active role in the teaching itself, I will interview teachers and students to delve deeper into which problems could be solved in this area.

I also have a great interest in world and traditional music, so already have some understanding as to how various systems of music are passed on or displayed visually, for example, and will research further into this in order to create a culturally understanding product.
