This week I created my final prototype. An interesting feature I used was two different screen sizes, with a smaller screen for showing less options to the user when they are trying to complete a task, as in the medium of VR, the screens do not have to fit the size of the device. I also used green text to show a positive number, such as energy saved, and red text to show a negative, such as excessive use of energy.
I struggled with creating the VR prototype, as certain features do not translate from Figma into Draft XR, for example transitions, and Figma components cannot be interacted with in Draft XR, so after some experimenting I discovered that I could remove component status from the buttons to allow interactions to work both in Figma and Draft XR.
