As my project will be focused on world culture, I found the illustration in this week’s lecture to be a useful tool to convey this theme in my app, perhaps through creating illustrations of the landscape and climate of the various regions of the world.

I created this simple illustration in Figma using semicircles. it represents a coastal landscape of Greece, I will possibly use this as a background in my app, and create more for various screens.

I also created a master-apprentice exercise of a music app screen.

I was very pleased with the colour, layout and type and icon scaling of this screen, but I struggled to create the same look in some of the icons as in the original app, such as the heart and download buttons.
