This week, i created some logo marks for my brand. Initially I created these sword and shield designs, connoting that the bank will protect the customer and their money, linking with my brand's values. The left design creates the hilt of the sword using the T and V of Templar's Vault.

Reviewing these, I found them to be too old fashioned and literal for a modern and online focused bank, but i was drawn to the crest I used for the shield logomark, so decided to refine it further in my next iteration of the logomark.

This time I used a straight on perspective, and used only straight lines, which implies strength and stability, as the shield design does, but with more implicit meaning through its simplicity.
