I found this task extremely fruitful due to the different conditions it was under in comparison to the way I am used to making designs and prototypes. The time constraint made me approach the task in a different way, as I chose to do the most difficult part first, the icons, so that afterwards I could put the rest together much more quickly towards the end of the task. In hindsight, this may have been a more effective plan if there was slightly more time, but if I had instead worked on repeatable components and the layout of the app, I could have finished the screen within the time and used placeholder icons.
Although I did not have enough time to finish the task, I was very pleased with the quality of the icons, and their faithfulness to the original version, considering the limited time assigned to complete the task.
As I have already chosen a professional and minimalist design for my CV document, I was able to save time by transferring the design aesthetic and partially the format of the CV over to the tender document. I feel this helps to create the impression that these two documents are linked within a shared brand.
