This week I created my master-apprentice pie chart. This helped me practice how to structure the pie chart, as well as creating and laying out wedges in Figma to create a whole circle. I found it quite difficult to find a typeface in Figma which accurately fit to the original, so i had to use a different typeface for the words and numbers. I think this turned out to be quite a precise recreation, and I will use what I have learnt to create the pie charts in my project.

I also collected and compiled the data for my dashboard, which helped me to create sketches of the layout, as I now know what kind of information must be included, and after seeing the various types of charts in this weeks lecture, I was able to consider how each piece of information may be displayed, for example, proportions through pie charts, or frequency or ties through a bar graph.

Currently, I am considering using only icons for the home screen of the dashboard, so that the user can easily navigate to each piece of information, separate from each other, and therefore also easy to read and digest.
