This week I created a UX teardown of the Danske Bank app, and applied my branding to their components. I found it very interesting to dissect the Danske bank app, and find small details to improve, such as in the design of icons, and small changes such as colour palette improvements. Despite this, the layout of the app is functional and easily navigable, which fits well into my brand’s values, therefore I will take inspiration for it when designing my bank’s app.

These are the two initial versions of the app I have made. Currently I prefer the right one more, as the logomark is clear to see, and at the forefront of the screen, and the simplicity of this screen is more in fitting with the brand values of efficiency.
